Shipping
The shipping cost shown at checkout is the amount you pay. Amounts on this page are in GBP. If you shop in another currency, checkout converts the same shipping rule.
Where we ship
We ship to the United Kingdom and to most other destinations available at checkout. We cannot ship to Ukraine.
Standard shipping does not apply to Norway, Iceland, Cyprus, Puerto Rico, Alaska, or Hawaii. Those destinations use the remote rate below.
Standard shipping
- Orders of £60 or more: free.
- Orders under £60: a flat fee of £20.
- Carrier: EMS.
- Preparation: 2–10 working days after we receive the order. Custom lamps can take longer.
- Transit: about 2–5 weeks to the UK. Other regions vary.
Delivery time is preparation time plus transit time. These times are estimates, not a guaranteed delivery date.
Remote destinations
Norway, Iceland, Cyprus, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii:
- Cost: £88 per item.
- Carriers: UPS, DHL Express, or FedEx, depending on the destination.
- Preparation: 1–2 weeks.
- Transit: about 5–7 days after the parcel is handed to the carrier.
Express shipping
Fast Shipping (DHL or DPD) is offered at checkout for the countries on that method, including the UK. The cost follows the weight bands set in checkout, currently £8.50 to £110.50. The figure shown before you pay is the figure you pay. Transit on that method is estimated at 3–7 days after collection. Preparation time is separate. This express method is marked tariff-free at checkout.
If checkout does not offer shipping to your address, email [email protected] before ordering.
Stock
The product page shows the latest availability we have. Availability can change before checkout is completed. If we cannot supply an item after you order, we will contact you before shipping. Please do not book an electrician until the item has arrived.
Tracking
After dispatch we email a tracking number. You can look it up at https://www.17track.net/en or email [email protected].
Customs
For standard shipping, a customs charge is possible when the longest side of a parcel is more than 60 cm. In our experience this happens in about 5% of those parcels. If a charge is issued, we pay 20% of that charge. In most cases the duty for Britain and other countries is £0–£20 per piece. Contact [email protected] if you need a quote before ordering.
Late delivery
If goods are delivered later than the estimated time above, we compensate 10% of the price of the delayed goods. Shipping time in the same country still varies by region.
